The Mortal Kombat franchise is too big for the company to announce the game proper at a fighting game event, so MK12's inclusion at any of these events is predicated on it already being officially shown before then.
Mortal Kombat 12 is obviously a bit trickier to pin down considering the game hasn't officially been announced by anyone but the big wigs at Warner Bros.
We have, however, been receiving a new Tekken character trailer at the rate of every 1 to 2 weeks, and it seems Capcom is going to be giving us more developer footage of SF6 in the coming days / weeks since they just released one for Zangief and Marisa.īoth Tekken 8 and SF6 have also featured pretty strongly on Sony's State of Play presentations, but again, we don't know when the next one of those is going to be. Between now and August 4, we've looked ahead to all of the FGC and gaming / entertainment industry events to scope out the most likely places for reveals, and there's probably more than you'd expect.Ĭapcom and Bandai Namco have been putting a lot more attention lately on releasing new trailers and clips to their own social media and YouTube pages, but we're going to be focused on the large events that have specific dates attached to them.
